The Nike Air Tech Challenge and the Air Tech Challenge II redefined tennis shoes. The ATC IIs upper allowed it to stand up to the rigorous back and forth, while also remaining lighter than most low top tennis shoes of that time, alongside an external moulded heel counter improved the fit and provided added comfort during long matches. This new 'Wimbledon' edition from Nike's special projects division features textured leather uppers and a throwback lacelock in celebration of this summers upcoming tournament.
